The InternetNZ Bear Committee

Welcome to the InternetNZ Bear Committee web page! We are the bears behind the society.

Membership is open to all Kiwi and ex-pat Kiwi bears. Owners (and non-owners), and all other interested creatures, are welcome as non-voters (though inducements are useful). E-mail the chairbear to get co-opted.

Meetings

Committee meetings in 2005 are usually held on Thursdays after lunch in The Cabin at VUW.

The last 2003 committee meeting was allegedly held over a drawn out two days (29 to 30 August) during the InternetNZ Council’s August meeting. The committee admits, however, there was a party the following day. On the subject of parties, the committee arranged a December beach party at Petone Beach.

The longest committee meeting thus far was held by Albert and Kerry over four days (9 to 12 July) at the NetSafe Conference 2003.

The first full meeting was held at the InternetNZ AGM (19 June) at the Festival of Technology 2003.

The committee regularly meets at the monthly Wellington regional meetings of InternetNZ and UniForum NZ.
