Dr. Preman Niles is Executive Secretary, Commission on Theological Concerns, Christian Conference of Asia, Singapore. His paper "Christian Mission and Peoples of Asia" first appeared in the CTC Bulletin (Vol 3 No.l;April 1982) and is reprinted in this book with permission of the author.
Dr. Kim Yong-Bock is Director for Research, Christian Institute for the Study of Justice and Development, Seoul, Korea. "How to Respond Theologically to the Human Conditions in Asia Today" was a document prepared specially for the WSCF Asia/Pacific Human Resources Development Program held in Thailand, in August 1982.
Dr. Feliciano V. Carino, former General Secretary (1973-77) of the WSCF is Dean, College of Arts and Sciences, Philippine Christian University, Manila. "Concerns of 'Living Theology' in Asia" is a slightly revised version of his talk given to the WSCF Asia/Pacific Regional Committee meeting held in Tokyo in August 1981.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Paulose Mar Paulose, Bishop of the Chaldean Church of the East, Trichur, Kerala (India), is presently Chairman of the Kerala SCM. The text "Development, Traditional Values and Christian Responsibility." is a summary of three lectures delivered at the Asian Secretaries Formation, a WSCF Asia/Pacific Leadership Training Program held in Colombo, March 1981.
Rev. Dr. Lee In-Ha, Pastor of Kawasaki Korean Church in Tokyo is also a member of the Program to Combat Racism Committee of the WCC and chairman of the National Christian Council of Japan. The two studies included here are texts of his reflections shared at the WSCF Asia/Pacific Regional Committee Meeting, Tokyo, August 1981. "Christian Gospel in a Minority Context" first appeared in Praxis (WSCF Asia Newsletter) Nos. 2-4, 1981.
