About the Author

Rev. Dr. Alexander Yule, known to his friends as Sandy, was ordained by the Presbytery of Melbourne North to work as General Secretary of Australia Student Christian Movement (ASCM) from April 1970 to February 1975. Presently, he is a full time lecturer (1976 till date) in the Philosophy Department at Melbourne College of Advanced Education (a Teacher's College). He is also serving as a Minister in Association with the Carlton parish of the Uniting Church in Australia.

Sandy Yule is a friend and supporter of the ASCM as well as of the Asia/Pacific Region. In 1985 at the CCA/WSCF Consultation in Bangkok he was one of the panel speakers.

He lives in Fitzroy (an inner suburb of Melbourne) with his wife Fay and their children Rebecca and Martin.
