THE CONTINUING KOREAN STRUGGLE AND A CALL TO RESPONSE

The struggle of the people in Korea will continue as they are determined more than ever before to put an end to oppression and the tyranny of the military dictatorship. Given the various factors involved, particularly U.S. support, the Chun Doo Hwan regime is bound to act more and more ruthlessly against its people. The reign of terror for the Korean people may perhaps continue for sometime but so will the struggle of the Korean people. While our sisters and brothers continue their struggle in Korea, it is imperative for those people around the world who cherish freedom and democracy to take concrete actions of solidarity supportive of the Korean people and their struggle.
