In the SCC Chapel: Singing and worshipping together.

A special worship session was held on August 6 to commemorate "Peace Day". The WSCF Asia/Pacific chose this day as the "Day for a Nuclear Free Future" in solidarity with the Peace Movement and in memory of the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A special order of service was drawn up for this day, and Saw Mathew Aye from Burma composed a 'song for Peace'. At this worship service, the statement prepared by the Regional Office was read calling for a renewed commitment to fight nuclearisation. This day was observed together with the residents of the SCC.

The participants also attended regular church services on Sundays with local congregations.
