NATIONAL REPORTS

The sharing of national and SCM reports highlighted and located the situation of women in individual country analysis. Lively discussion of each report stimulated participants to compare notes between their own and every other country with specific reference to the problems confronting women in Asia/Pacific. These reports not only broadened perspectives but increased greater awareness and solidarity among participants on the diverse realities of Asia/Pacific as a region of geopolitics.
