NEW POSSIBILITIES OF PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CHURCHES

The group worked on the new possibilities of partnership of SCM with the Churches and other Christian organizations. In the light of the following points the participant explored avenues for a better relationship with the Churches:

a) Relationship between SCM and Church

b) Self understanding and self criticism of SCM

c) Relationship with the other Christian Organisations.

The participants felt that since the church and other Christian youth organisations and the SCM have the same mission, an attempt should be made to unite with these to work together our common struggles. (for recommendations and suggestions, please see appendix "statements and convictions")
