WOMEN'S CAUCUS

Inspite of the tight schedule, the women managed to caucus on three different occasions. The group shared their personal life story as well as the activities that were carried out in their respective movement on women's issues.

Whilst the women got together, some of the men also caucused.

Finally, the women and men met together to caucus. The deliberations of the women's caucus were put forth to the women and men. There were some differences of opinion - some male members were prepared to be open whilst others clung to the brainwashed concept of what a woman ought to be. It was felt that such caucuses should be included in the future programmes, as it brings about an awareness amongst the group.
