The Logo designed by the Thai SCMers symbolises the theme “Race Issues and Struggles of the Minorities in Asia/Pacific”. The large circle represents the majority people encircling the minority people as represented by the two dots. The “Haenghong” which grows from the larger circle towards the dots, indicates a cultural/ideological/social approach towards struggling for justice and peace in relation to the race issues and struggles of minorities. The “Haenghong” is an architecture found on the roofs of Thai temples symbolising Buddhist ideals and beliefs.
