National Reports

Spread over the first half of the Programme were the sharing of national situation reports. In keeping with the Programme methodology, the participants representing the various national Movements highlighted those trends in their national life relevant to the HRD'84 theme. Each national presentation provided a general picture of that particular country and then described the vision and functioning of the SCM.

In the discussion of these reports the participants especially noted the characteristics and problems common to all or most of the countries, in particular the challenges faced commonly by the SCMs.
