Participation In Asian Youth Assembly

The HRD'84 group broke into separate teams to join the incoming delegates to the AYA for the preliminary Exposure Programmes. Whilst three groups of HRD participants joined exposure programmes in Delhi itself, a fourth group travelled by train to Bombay.

After a week's exposure, everybody gathered once more in St. Stephen's College, Old Delhi for the Assembly proper. The HRD'84 participants met a further larger number of SCMers in their various country delegation. On one evening a "WSCF Night" function was held in the worship tent for all the SCMers to meet each other.

All the HRD'84 alumni divided themselves amongst the various workshops and discussions groups in order to contribute widely throughout the Assembly process. Several of the HRD'84 alumni were selected as moderators and rapporteurs of the final major workshops, whilst other SCMer functioned as resource persons in various discussion groups.
