ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Resource Book project of the “School for Ecumenical Leadership Formation”(SELF) is a fruitful outcome of almost 7 months’ effort. It is impossible to recognize all those who have worked for this report. However, I wish to acknowledge first of all the contribution of the participants of the SELF which was held in Chiangmai 2001.

From the beginning, this resource book project depended mostly on Ms. Renemla, who was the full-time intern of Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) Youth Desk and was responsible for this particular project. She spent most of her 7-month internship to make this resource book possible. She collected all reports, articles and art works, and went through all first-hand materials in order to arrange them in a systematic way for easy editing. Without her energetic work and patient sacrifice, this resource book may not be completed.

Special appreciation goes to Ms. Cynthia Yuen, who was the executive staff of CCA Youth Desk until last year. She developed the initial ideas on the resource book and worked closely with Ms. Renemla to enrich the resource book. She also provided all kinds of support from the CCA to Ms. Renemla so that she could continue to work on the resource book without interruptions.

My colleague, Ms.Wong Yock Leng who helped with the editing and special thanks to Ms. Necta Montes, who was a former WSCF-AP staff, worked very hard for the final editing of the resource book.

Finally, I appreciate Ms. Wong Yick Ching for the doing all the exhaustive lay-out and design work, Mr. Janea Llave for his beautiful cover artwork, and the resource persons in SELF who have helped to facilitate these intelligent lessons in the training workshop. With much thanks and appreciation, they are Dr. Kim Yong Bock, Mr. Sanjeewa Liyanage, Ms. Necta Montes, Ven. Sulak Sivaraksa, Rev. Duleep de Chikera, Mr. Muto Ichiyo, Lucila B.
