Leader: ( Tin chung) Merciful God, often we have gone around with the attitude of superiority and Holier than Thou w have shut our eyes and ears and minds and souls ! We have shut our doors on peoples who different from our own. For these faults and offences against you, Your Son and your children, we ask.
Response: God, our motherly father and fatherly mother, we repent and return to you forgives us.
Leader: (Grace) Out of our limited human understanding and our narrow and at times literal interpretations of Your Holy word, we have condemned others and banished them beyond salvation. We have failed to see your total plan for humanity where in your greatness and immensity you have laid before us an unimaginable variety of lives and colour differences and multiplicity. We fail to comprehend your mystery and yet we misunderstood what you have created and given to us.
Response: God, our motherly father and fatherly mother, we repent and Return to You, forgive us.
Leader: (Avon) For our understanding of our salvation as that of only other worldly and for de-linking it from the issues of salvation of our people here on earth; for not realising that outside the solidarity with the poor and with other religions, we have no salvation.

All: Oh Merciful Lord, we wish to sweep away our 'arrogance" of claiming that we know everything about You.
Leader: (Sa E Hmo) Allow us to be fully "open' and "listen deeply" to others with Your love while deepening our own faith in You.
All: Open our spiritual eyes, Lord, so that we may truly appreciate the plurality and see Your work an presence among all nations and peoples in their pursuit of truth and justice-

Leader:( Moon Jeong) Oh God, in the midst of "survival of the fittest" and "struggle for power and dominance", We are challenged by unrighteousness, injustice and exclusion which our people face day today.
All: Lead us not into temptation of dogmatic adherence, but into genuine solidarity with the poor and sick, into true partnership and action with peoples for the common humanity.
Leader: (Vari) Do not allow us to speak of humanity without true commitment to common concerns and struggle for social justice.
All: Oh God, Bless us and guide us that we may practice " dialogue of action' with people in our common pilgrimage towards the Your Reign where justice, love and peace overflow.
