PRAYER

Loving God, why we are here

At SELF, Why do we struggle

With those issues, feeling  hurt,

Pain and dissatisfied with

The way the world is?

Because we have a kind of

Human within us. The thing

That started our hearts beating

And keep them going. A deeply

Felt compassion for the humanity

For the mother Earth, For the

Precious concept which is Life.

Mother God, from whose womb

the universe has sprang calm our hearts,

steady our minds

And give us clarity of minds

That we may respond to this calling

In a humble hopeful way

Give each of us some revelation

And accept from us infinite

And continuos Thanks

for the journeys of our lives,

our experiences, trails and opportunities.

In the name of Jesus Christ.  AMEN

Hosea 2: 2 & CH 3, Mt. 19:1-12

Luke 8:40-56

Closing Prayer

We know of Oppression and torture

We know of extortion, violence,

Destitute and diseases

We have seen the young man mutilated

The tom girl trembling by the mill stream

And meanwhile we have gone on living

Living and partly living.....

So let us throw stones into

A deadly calm lake

From all ages of the lake

No matter how small is the stone

No matter how small the wave

The lake is the world

The lake is the people's mind

The lake is the human bondage

The lake is the chain of human oppression

When all of standing together on all sides

Keep throwing stones

The waves will never cease

Till the whole lake starts

Bubbling with life.

May living God lead us to such action faith!

Brother, sister, let me serve you

The Servant  Song

Brother Sister let me serve you.,

Let me be as Christ to you,

Pray that I may have the grace to

Let you be my servant too

We are pilgrims on a journey

We Are travellers on the road

We are here to help each other

Walk a mile and bear the load

I will hold the Christ -light for you

In the night time of your fear

I will hold my hand out to you

Speak the peace you long to hear

I will weep when you are weeping,

When you laugh I will laugh with you

I will share your joy and sorrow

Till we've seen the journey through

When we sing to God in heaven

 We shall find such harmony

Born of all we've known together

Of Christ's love and agony

Lord I left your name on high

Lord we left your name on high

Lord we love to sing your praises

We're so glad you're in our life

We're so glad you came to save us

You came from heaven

To earth to show the way

From the earth

To the cross our debts to pay

From the cross to the grave,

From the grave to the sky

Lord we left your name on high.

Be still

Be still and I know that

I am God (x3)
